Rydony is home to the largest free-market economy in Vaniya. The people here are free spirited and follow their passions, which typically lead them to trouble or prosperity. There is a joke, popular in the other regions, that every thief and pirate calls Rydony home, but the Rydonese take pride in their lifestyles. Near Vosstern lies Lake Voss, a reminder that restraint isn't always a bad thing. The story goes that Vosstern was once further inland, until a group became too powerful and caused the destruction of the city leading to it being swallowed by the earth and washed over by the sea. On bright days, you can still make out the very top of the tallest buildings sitting at the bottom of the lake.
