A large desert on the eastern side of the continent, Mirkesh is home to a hearty and survivalistic people. The sands hold many mysteries and it isn't uncommon for a ruin to be seen during a trek only to be reclaimed by the desert on the return trip. Lately, strange crystal that hum with energy have been found "growing" throughout the region. Several have taken samples to study, but after a couple hours the energy seems to dissipate.
