Commonly called the marshlands or sometimes the beastlands, Idrez is a mostly uncharted stretch of land. The settlements are mostly around the edges of the region, and the interior is a vast, unbroken swamp. There are many fairy tales about things that lurk in the dark, waiting to grab unsuspecting travelers and turn them into the very beasts that roam the wilds.
